Alistair Gardner started his career in Banking in Edinburgh, with this employment involving 15 years of extensive corporate lending, including 2 years in merchant banking and 7 years as a Bank Manager.

After a successful career in banking, he established Forward Business Planning in July 1991 to use his experience as a lender to ensure clients focus on all aspects of their business, particularly when planning future development.  He is focused on assisting businesses in quantifying their financial needs and preparing a Business Plan, which can be used as a tool to support applications for funding.  The resultant Business Plan provides the necessary information to support applications for commercial funding from a variety of sources.

Each Business Plan incorporates financial projections, including cash flow forecasts, supported by assumptions.  Additional assistance is given with the completion, submission and negotiation of applications.
