Alan Wall has been working in design consultancy and new product development in the North West for more than thirty years. During this time the Buxton Wall consultancy has worked in many different market sectors which include medical & scientific equipment, consumer plastics, electronics and even toys!

As a result Alan has extensive knowledge of appropriate manufacturing techniques and suppliers which ensures a cost effective design solution. Clients vary from the “blue chip” to inventors and University spin-off companies.  For the latter this typically involves helping with the cosmetic packaging of the new technology to bring it to market.

To support initial promotion (e.g. fund raising or key exhibitions) visually accurate full cosmetic working models are often produced which reduces up-front capital cost and can make dramatic reductions in the overall time to market. Alan has provided design and NPD support to E A Technology since 2004 for several of the new products which include the award winning UltraTEV Detector.
